Physical Therapy

NATIONAL SENIOR CARE’s Physical Therapists are an integral part of your recovery. Your Physical Therapist will work under the direction of your physician to develop and implement a plan of care to assist you in attaining the highest level of functional independence possible. Your Physical Therapist will also provide you and your caregiver with specialized training to maximize your safety at home while you are recovering.

Physical Therapy Interventions include but are not limited to:

  • Therapeutic exercise to build strength, endurance, balance, and range of motion
  • Gait training
  • Transfer training
  • Assessment and instruction for medical equipment
  • Fall Prevention and safety training
  • Home safety evaluation
  • Home exercise program
