How Home Care Can Help

NATIONAL SENIOR CARE is committed to providing our patients with a successful recovery experience. Following a debilitating illness, injury or surgery, recovery at home provides comfort that helps to alleviate the stress involved in the healing process. Our compassionate medical professionals can make the difference and get you back to your normal activities as quickly as possible. Our services include interventions from Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Skilled Nursing, Home Health Aide, and Medical Social Work.

Occupational Therapy

NATIONAL SENIOR CARE’s Occupational Therapists are experts in restoring a patient’s ability to perform activities of daily living. Many times this involves the Occupational Therapist teaching new or modified ways of completing a task. Achieving functional independence in your daily activities will allow you to control your ability to remain in your home and have the freedom to be an active member of your community.

Occupational Therapy Interventions include but are not limited to:

  • Energy conservation and work simplification
  • Training in activities of daily living
  • Home safety evaluation
  • Adaptive equipment recommendation and training
  • Assessment of visual issues
  • Fall prevention strategies
